I have the right to say that this idea to end kickoffs in College Football is absurd. The NCAA has already made some major adjustments to how a player tackles which might have been needed. However any player or football guru would agree with me when I say that the kickoff sets the tone of the game and shouldn't be tampered with. I understand Coach Schiano's rationale for wanting to end the kickoffs because of what happened to his player. Nevertheless this is Football and there is always a chance of getting injured, so if you are scared of getting hurt you might want to re-think playing.
