In the United States we, as citizens, have many rights and privileges such as the right to bare arms which means you can buy or sell firearms. That amendment does come with some stipulations; it cannot be exercised if you are a convicted felon. Do you think its ok for a state or federal entity to put restrictions on how many rounds you are allowed to have in your firearm? In New York they are in the process of trying to put a limit on capacity of your weapon. This effort is not driven from the very said incident that occurred in Tucson , Arizona last week. Does putting a limit on capacity the answer for gun related incidents I don’t think so . Would this law survive in Miami FL what do you think?
As people always say: Guns don't kill people. People kill people. Limiting the amount of bullets would do what? Prevent a crazed gunman like the Tuscon killer who happens to abide by gun-laws?
ReplyDeleteSounds foolish and wasted effort. What percentage of gun related casualties in Miami are from legally obtained and under code guns? My guess is that it isn't high. Government should be doing more to get illegal guns off the street.
Yes you are right people are always making excuses and never want to own up to there mistakes smh.I really don't see the point of limiting numbers cause all they will do is keep reloading.
